First established in Wolverhampton in 1908 the Viking brand has a history, rich in the tradition of top quality road bikes and throughout the century. For 2011 the range includes Road, Trekking, Comfort, Tandems, Heritage, Urban Sport and City Folders. No longer produced in Wolverhampton, each model now utilizes the technical developments of today's manufacturing processes and lightweight tubing. This Viking adult tandem mountain bike is an ideal cycle for couples or friends who prefer to share the experience of a cycle ride. Constructed from oversize aluminium tubing, mated to oversize forks to take the rigours of trail riding. The 26" wheels keep the centre of gravity low for improved stability. The Timber Trails lightweight aluminium frame features an eccentric bottom bracket for easy chain tension adjustment. Up front it features an oversize steel fork for precise control. Equipped with 24 speed Shimano indexed gears for easy shifting and powerful front and rear V type brakes it offers a great introduction to tandem riding.
