The Suprima 1481 Unisex Washable Hip Protector Pants with Sewn-in Viscoelastic Pad provide an all-in-one solution to offer effective protection against hip fractures and injuries in the event of a fall.

We want to keep our mobility throughout our whole life. As we grow older, an unsteady gait can lead to falls. With increasing age, the risk of osteoporosis also rises which is associated with a very high probability of sustaining a fracture in the event of a fall. A fall on the hip or the thigh is one of the most common falls. A hip fracture can result in months of immobility and have severe consequences.

The pants feature laterally integrated hip protectors that significantly reduce the risk of fracture in case of a fall. The hip protector pants are a seamless circular knit and extremely durable. The wide comfortable waistband makes these pants comfortable to wear whilst providing a great sense of safety due to their even compression. Functional and comfortable - the special underwear offers the wearer the highest level of protection when being active as well as lying down. The side protectors are made of viscoelastic soft foam and are waterproof as well as machine washable. The protectors are sewn-in and therefore cannot be removed by patients with dementia or lost in the laundry. The pants are suitable for both men and women and can also be used for XXXL patients due to their elasticity.
