Product Description

RAPID EYEWEAR AVIATE PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES
Prescription sunglasses with a multi-lens system, designed for pilots but suitable for a range of sports and leisure activities. Aviate meet CAA recommendations for aviation eyewear.

THE FRAME
The Aviate system is built around a lightweight, two-part frame. The main part, made from a tough polycarbonate material, has an indent above the nose bridge section that allows the tinted lens assemblies to clip on.

The second part of the frame is an Rx insert, made from TR90. This is, effectively, a spectacle frame, which sits behind the tinted lens to complete a neat prescription solution.

THE LENSES
Four sets of interchangeable tinted lenses are included, as follows:

* Category 0, light-enhancing
* Category 2 red, for fairly bright or changeable conditions
* Category 3, grey mirror for sunny conditions
* Category 4, dark smoked for very bright sunshine

All lenses have an anti-scratch coating and precision, decentred optics.

ACCESSORIES Supplied as standard with a carry case, retainer strap and microfibre cleaning cloth.

You can ask your regular optician to add your prescription, or ask us to do it by calling 01622 812133, or message through Amazon. The prices are £40.00 for single-vision lenses, or £65.00 for bi-focal lenses. Please note that these sunglasses are only suitable for distance strengths up to plus or minus 4.5.

All Rapid Eyewear sunglasses conform to ISO 12312 regulations. As such, they offer 100% UVA / UVB protection on all lenses.
