These boxing skipping ropes are constructed with a steel wire core wrapped with a strong poly plastic casing along with a wire guard which aides a smooth motion of the ground whilst protecting the poly plastic casing. The idea is that not only is the boxing rope more durable than a conventional boxing speed rope, it also offers a slighly heavier feel than the normal boxing speed ropes.
