The classic round drop shape has been refined based on modern fitters while retaining the familiar feel and proven ergonomics of a traditional round road bar.
It allows the athlete a "long and low" position in the drops.
Also, the ends of drops provide a horizontal flat position for the rider to rest straight down upon.
In addition, the bar's angle (the slope of the bar from the curve of the tops to the brake perch) provides a smooth transition to the brake hoods for a comfortable ergonomic hand position on the hoods.
