A major advance in hair colouring for a rich colour which now resists fading. Recital's new patented colourant molecules penetrate the hair shaft and are locked in, providing better resistance to fading. Your hair holds onto its vibrancy and the colour you want stays truer, from roots to ends, even with repeated shampooing. This new formula actually conditions as it colours. Then the after colour care finishing cream, with its UV filter, helps protect the hair leaving it incredibly soft and shiny. Although it is rare, some people may be prone to allergies, a sensitivity test, therefore is advised before use. Clean 1cm behind the ear and apply a little of Recital Preference, reapply two or three times allowing it to dry between each application and wait for 48 hours without washing. If during this period you notice itching or reddening, do not use Recital Preference. Recital will cover all grey hair, although you should remember that if you are more than 50% grey, your result may be slightly lighter than suggested. Please note that on especially resistant grey hairs, total coverage may sometimes not be possible. Recital Preference is a permanent colourant, so it will gradually grow out. For this reason, you will see root regrowth, so you should reapply at the roots every 5/6 weeks for an overall even colour following the refresher application method. You can use Recital to give yourself a lighter haircolour.. Most of the other shades can take you two shades lighter (6 to an 8). If you want to go much lighter than your normal shade you must either use L'Oréal super blonde to first prelighten your hair, and then apply your chosen shade or use the three lightest Recital shades helsinki, scandinavia and alaska, to take you three shades lighter. If your hair has been recently coloured with this same shade of Recital (or a similar shade from another permanent colourant), you only need a refresher application. Recital cannot lighten hair which is already coloured.
