The Neo Physio knee brace features two aluminum hinges, one on either side of the knee. This, combined with the neoprene and Velcro straps, improves stability around the whole knee area. Two adjustable hook and loop Velcro straps can be tightened for an accurate, individual fit, ensuring your knee is kept stabilized during any activity. The open front design of the brace makes putting on, and taking off very easy. You just slip the brace behind your knee, then fastener the Velcro on the front, above and below your knee. You're able to further adjust the tightness with the two Velcro straps. The hinges are completely removable, as your knee recovers you can remove these and use the neoprene material and Velcro straps to provide the support. This helps with the rehabilitation of your knee. The open patella design provides ventilation and relieves pressure on the knee cap. The flexible, quality neoprene provides compression and warmth around the whole knee knee area, helping to aid, and in some cases speed up healing. As you can see from the picture the inside is well padded for maximum comfort. It sometimes helps to wear the brace over the top of some base layer leggings/ compression leggings. This helps with comfort, but also wearing this type of clothing when recovering has it's own benefits. This support is perfect for improving stability to the whole of your knee area.
