Product Description

This is a home test for the STD Gonorrhea. The device detects what's called the Gonorrhea antigen, a protein produced by the body's immune system in order to fight off the infection. A sample is taken from the epithelial walls on the inside of either the penis or vagina, and then mixed with detection buffers. The mix of body fluids and buffer A/B chemicals then spreads over the sample sheet in the cassette and if the given Gonorrhea protein is present a chemical reaction is initiated producing a red test line. After the specimen has been mixed with detection chemicals (Buffer A/B or Dilluent Solution) the results will appear almost instantly(Usually within 5 minutes). These are the exact same tests used by many hospitals in Europe and North America. It must be emphasised that this test only serves as a preliminary tool of diagnosis. A confirmative result must be given by a licensed doctor.
