Product Description

Galpharm Cold Sore Cream Presentation: Cream containing 50mg/g aciclovir (5%). Indications: Treatment of Herpes Simplex virus infections of the lips and face (Herpes labialis). Dosage and Administration: Adults and children: Initiate as soon as possible after start of infection. Apply thin film of cream to infected skin 5 times daily at 4-hour intervals for 5 days, following by further 5 days if healing has not occurred. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to ingredients. Precautions: Use only on cold sores on lips and face. Avoid contact with eyes. Seek medical advice in severe Herpes labialis. Infection contamination and transmission risk. Caution in pregnancy and lactation. Immunocompromised patients - only on advice of doctor.
