Preliminary trials have shown that Celadrin may help to reduce pain and inflammation. During a placebo controlled study, patients with chronic knee osteoarthritis took celadrin took Celadrin daily over an 8 week period. Their pain levels and range of motion were recorded at the start of the trial, and again after 2, 4 and 8 weeks. On these dates, patients underwent extensive functional evaluations to measure their pain levels when completing daily activities, such as climbing stairs.
