✔ The Biocard™ Helicobacter pylori IgG test is a quick and sensitive home test to detect Helicobacter pylori antibodies in the blood. It is used as an aid in the diagnosis of a Helicobacter pylori infection, which may be connected with peptic ulcer disease, inflammation of gastric or duodenal mucosa and with increased risk of stomach cancer.
✔ A positive test result indicates that there are IgG antibodies to Helicobacter pylori in the blood sample. The detection of these antibodies indicates either a current infection or an infection in the past with Helicobacter pylori.
