Monitor your blood glucose easily with the Beurer GL44The small and easily portable Beurer GL 44 Blood Glucose Monitor is great for keeping track of your blood glucose levels at home or on the go. With an illuminated insertion slot for wide test strips and large illuminated LCD display, the GL 44 makes testing easy. The relaxing tapping massage feature takes the pain out of testing. There is a simple measurement marking for diabetes management: before eating, after eating and general marking.
The GL 44 includes ten single-use test strips, ten single-use lancet needles, a storage pouch, blood glucose diary and batteries. There are 480 memory spaces with date and time, and the GL 44 can give you an average value over 7, 14, 30 or 90 days. It is diabass compatible and just 0.6 microlitres of blood is sufficient for testing.

The Beurer GL 50 Blood Glucose Monitor is compatible with the new international DIN EN ISO 15197:2013 standard for home testing of glucose levels. This standard will be compulsory from 2016. This new standard has been set to improve home testing results accuracy to 99%, thus enabling patients to self manage and regulate their diabetes. The previous standard had been at 95%. The GL 50 provides accurate measuring to plan dietary requirements and medication dosage, for example, insulin.
