Decolorized, or white iodine, is used in a variety of ways. The most popular is as an antiseptic applied topically. It will not stain the skin or clothing, unlike traditional iodine. Just place two to three drops of white iodine on a cotton ball and apply to cuts, grazes, burns, bites or stings to ward off infection as it has miraculous antiseptic and disinfectant capabilities. It is also used for improving the appearance of nails. Use Decolorized Iodine to improve weak or brittle fingernails. When applying only do it on the tip of the nail (not the nail bed) and the underside of the nail tip. You should see improvement after one to two weeks. Another use is for Alopecia, or hair loss. Apply white iodine once a day to the affected area. Results typically appear within two to six weeks.
