How does it work?
The Aircast AirSport Ankle Brace incorporates clinically proven Air-Stirrup Ankle Brace features, such as a semi-rigid shell and AirCells, to provide comfort and support on both sides of the ankle. This can also be very effective in the treatment of a sprained ankle, Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome, ankle instability or following a broken ankle.
Additional compression and stabilisation is provided by the ATF (Anterior TaloFibular ligament) Velcro cross strap and integral forefoot and shin wraps. This compression is very effective in the treatment of a swollen ankle. Once strapped in place this brace limits ankle movement in order to prevent the ankle rolling over.
