How does this wrist support work? The wrist brace contains a metal splint / bar that rests underneath the wrist offering excellent support to painful wrists. The metal bar relieves the strain on the tendons and helps to reduce wrist pain both day and night, making this support ideal for wrist support for sprains, wrist support tendonitis, or as a carpal tunnel splint. By keeping the wrist in a neutral position the carpel tunnel is also kept in its widest position relieving the symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome such as wrist pain, numbness, pins and needles and tingling in the hand. This makes this splint ideal as a carpal tunnel support especially at night time whilst sleeping.
