Designed to provide the same sloped surface and curved lip to one side as the existing Manoy plates, but in an more inclusive round plate style, the new Manoy Round Plate features a broad rim to aid carrying and a discreet dimpled pattern on the underside to indicate the location of the curved lip for those with visual impairments. Suitable for one handed eating the user can push the food against the curved lip and onto a fork or spoon. Available in a tough, scratch resistant white melamine with a blue/green pattern designed to aid food contrast for those with dementia, provide additional indication of the curved lip location and provide a subtle 'portion management' guide; this version is suitable for use in domestic dishwashers. Also available in a plain white, tough and scratch resistant polyester which is suitable for use in both a dishwasher and microwave.
