A woody scented oil, extracted from the bark of evergreen cedar trees by steam distillation. Cedarwood essential oil has a clean, balsamic, woody smell with gentle undertones of sandalwood. Cedarwood helps to calm and soothe energy, promoting spirituality. It can also be used in inhalations to help clear the respiratory system of excess mucus. When used in natural skincare it acts as an astringent, can balance sebum production and reduce the occurrence of dandruff.
