Product Description

The red tubular slide sheet is manufactured using 120gsm Transtex silicone coated nylon fabric. The fabric is sewn into a continuous tube with a double sewn french seam, which adds strength and durability. A web hanging loop is provided to allow the sheet to be kept with the patient at all times. Transtex is the specially developed silicone coated fabric used to produce the company's low friction patient handling aids. The fabric is silicone coated on both sides to provide the long lasting low friction necessary for stress free patient repositioning manoeuvres. This red slide sheet is intended for Patient Specific use. They are designed to accompany the patient during their stay in hospital and then be disposed of when the patient has has no further use for them. The slide sheet is not suitable for laundering, however lightly soiled sheets may be wiped clean using a dilute chlorine based solution or a good quality sterilisation fluid. The slide sheet measures 145 x 71cm with a maximum user weight of 400kg (62 stone). Tubular and flat slide sheets are not intended for lifting. All patient repositioning manoeuvres should be accomplished without lifting.
