The high walls of the partitions provide a surface for scooping food onto a fork or spoon at the same time as allowing different food stuffs or parts of a meal to be clearly separated, allowing the child much more control. These partitioned plates can also be an ideal aid for children with a visual impairment, allowing them to familiarise themselves with the location of different food items. Made from high quality, durable, white melamine the partitioned plate is suitable for use in dishwashers but is not recommended for use in microwaves.
