Converts a standard non ahead bike to take an ahead stem lease check the diameter of your current stem before buying, the size should be marked on the bottom half of your stem BRAND NEW Alloy Quill to A-Head Adaptor. The top of the quill is 28.6mm diameter , you clamp an oversize ahead stem around this part. An easy way to convert your older style quill stem frame over to A-Head stem design. Choose from 22.2 mm (7/8 inch) quill frame hole over to a 28.6mm (1 1/8 inch) A-Head stem. or 25.4 mm (1 inch) quill frame hole over to a 28.6mm (1 1/8 inch) A-Head stem most steel frames require 22.2mm, most alloy frames require 25.4mm , but please check your bike before ordering Total length of the quill is 155mm
