The Magnesium Scrub Gel has originally been designed by Zechstein as an aid in the treatment of Psoriasis and other skin problems in combination with the Flakes. Magnesium Chloride has extremely hydrating and anti-bacterial properties. Like sea water, Pure Magnesium Chloride has a great beneficial effect to the skin- cleanses skin in depth, softens and refreshes. Zechstein Magnezium Scrub Gel consists of a combination of Brine, Flakes (minimum 50%), Sea Salt and a starch-based gelling agent. Because Magnesium Chloride salt attracts water molecules, the Sea Salt crystals stay dry in this solution, it actually acts as a mild exfoliating agent. You can apply it to the rough skin areas you would like to exfoliate and soften - elbows, knees, others . Then gently rub it into the affected areas. The Magnesium scrub will remove dead skin cells, while soothing and healing damaged skin. Zechstein Magnezium Scrub Gel can also be applied on any ordinary skin abrasion, spot or cut. When it stings a lot, try and dilute it a little. You will notice that the wound will become clean and will heal very quickly. Another wonderful application for Zechstein Magnezium Scrub Gel is to maintain a radiant skin. Apply it to a slightly damp skin of the face and neck, and gently massage it all over with circular movements. Almost immediately you will feel a warmth developing all over the area, which is caused by the active ingredients in the gel. Whilst massaging, you are exfoliating, cleaning and hydrating your skin. After few minutes you can wash your face with lukewarm water and your face will feel like new: supple, smooth and clean. You can moisturise after if you wish or leave your skin the way it is, because your face will not feel tight or dry after using the Magnesium Scrub.
