Santini Women's Rea 3/4 Cycling Shorts These anatomically cut tights are constructed from Lycra Newport fabric which is stretchy enough to be comfortable yet elastic and compact enough to reduce muscle strain. Complete with contrast colour inserts on the sides, silicone grippers on the back of the knees, comfortable elastic waistband and Santinis anatomical GIL chamois designed specifically for women. Fabric Technology:- Lycra Newport: An elastic material, which can be used to assist in reducing muscular strain, during intense exercise. This fabric is compact and crush proof, and also has the advantage of dense multidirectional elasticity. This leads to the overall goal of aiding the muscles during physical activity. The material composition of this fabric is 78% Polyamide / 22% Elastane. Chamois Technology:- GIL: This chamois is a womens version of the GIT chamois. This chamois uses a twist gel core, which provides constant and gradual shock protection. The padding has been shaped to gently follow female contours. The silicone gel that is used in the twist core absorbs shock constantly throughout a ride, and returns to its initial shape to keep the chamois comfortable and shock proof. Two layers of foam are also added to increase the anti-shock properties of the padding. The top layer is made of a soft antibacterial microfibre, which offers a great fit and ease of movement, due to the depressions on the layer. This chamois will also offer protection from chafing and irritation.
