Pine wood tolerates the changes in humidity without cracking, and it absorbs water extremely well. This makes pine a very suitable wood material for usage in the sauna.
Care instructions: Always rinse the product with warm water after use, but do not soak it. After rinsing off let the product dry freely, so that it dries equally from all the sides. The product can also be treated with paraffin oil, which protects the product from dirt and makes the surface water repellent.
Pinetta Sauna buckets are produced in a traditional Finnish way, where a plastic inner bucket is added to prevent the bottom to burst and in this way avoid leaking. This contributes to the hygiene and also the lifespan of the bucket. There is no wooden bottom, to avoid uneccesary usage of natural wood and is therefore protects the environment.
