Once opened, the containers can be stored for up to 90 days, at a temperature of +4 degrees Celsius to +40 degrees Celsius. Humidity of 10% to 85%. Do not store the containers in the fridge.
The Beurer GL 50 Blood Glucose Monitor is compatible with the new international DIN EN ISO 15197:2013 standard for home testing of glucose levels. This standard will be compulsory from 2016. This new standard has been set to improve home testing results accuracy to 99%, thus enabling patients to self manage and regulate their diabetes. The previous standard had been at 95%. The GL 50 provides accurate measuring to plan dietary requirements and medication dosage, for example, insulin.
