RAPID EYEWEAR AURORA PILOT SUNGLASSESA highly versatile sunglasses package, Aurora from Rapid Eyewear feature an interchangeable lens system. Originally designed for pilots, they can also be used for any sports or leisure activity.
THE FRAME
Made from TR90, an extremely tough composite material, the Aurora frame has a wrap-around styling to block unwanted wind and light from the peripheries of your vision. Extremely lightweight, the frame has a slight inbuilt flex that, along with rubber nose pads and side-arm extensions, makes for a comfortable fit on most sizes and shapes of head. The side arms are flat, allowing them to fit comfortably under a headset.
THE LENSES
Three sets of lenses are supplied, as follows:
* Yellow (Cat 0), for low-light days and night driving. An AR coating greatly reduces the glare from lights at night
* Red (Cat 2), for fairly bright or changeable days
* Grey mirror (Cat 3) for sunny days
All lenses have an anti-scratch coating, and decentred optics for distortion free viewing.
ACCESSORIES
Also supplied as standard are a hard carry case, which has belt-fixing loops and catches, plus a lint-free cleaning cloth and a retainer strap.
CONFORMITY
