Relax in the sauna, find your peace and, at the same time, recharge your batteries: the herbal-fruity sauna infusion from Spitzner with balancing lavender and invigorating kumquat provides exactly the right dose of wellbeing for body, soul & senses after a hectic day! Lavender & kumquat - origin and history: Almost everyone is familiar with the fragrance of lavender. Treasured for many years, it is regarded as a proven traditional remedy. The plants grow particularly well in Mediterranean regions as they love sun and warmth. Lavender is easily recognisable thanks to its light-green narrow leaves with their characteristic blue-violet blossoms on long stems. In addition to its attractive appearance, lavender is used widely as a versatile therapeutic essence. The kumquat (translation "golden orange") comes originally from China. It can be found wherever other citrus fruit exists. The bush can grow up to around two metres in height, is lightly thorny and bears small fragrant flowers. The fruit is yellow-orange and grows up to four centimetres in length. The peel of the fruit is thin, finely porous and can also be eaten. The inside is divided into segments with edible kernels in them. The fruit flesh has a sweet-sour taste whereas the peel tastes rather tart. They are also known as dwarf oranges because of their appearance and size. Dose: 15-30 ml sauna infusion to 1 litre water Details:
