The Inov-8 X-Talon 190 is a super lightweight, mountain/fell shoe with a low profile midsole. It is comfortable, stable and grippy, with a sticky rubber outsole. A stripped-back upper retains the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) quality of its forebears with a reduced 3mm drop. The talon-like grip and incredible flexibility are also retained, meaning this shoe really flies over mountains, fells, obstacles and all soft ground. A replication of the plantar fascia ligament increases propulsion efficiency and reduces fatigue. Featuring a 3mm differential between the forefoot and heel with a 3mm footbed, the X-TalonTM 190 ensures that your foot remains close to the ground in its most stable position. This shoe incorporates a meta-flex groove which is anatomically aligned in front of the metatarsal heads to provide a natural forefoot flex. This shoe uses Inov-8's proprietary sticky rubber compound which has been specifically developed using climbing rubber technology. This rubber optimises grip in wet conditions and offers great durability.
