High Cantilever Side Rails are essential for patient safety when the patient is lying on a deep dynamic mattress system. In cases such as this, the mattress depth is large enough that normal cantilever side rails would not be high enough to meet standards or prevent the possibility of patient falls. The INNOV8/LOW/HSR are easily fitted to the Innov8 Low, and once fitted can be collapsed with no effort to allow access to the patient or to allow the patient to exit or enter the bed.
