Quick Overview
Bazuka gel is a complete treatment kit for verrucas, warts, corns and calluses. It comes with a special applicator, emery boards and instructions. Containing the active ingredients salicylic acid and lactic acid, they soften the skin growth, thus assisting removal of the excessive skin, with an emery board or pumice stone. The gel also actively kills the very contagious virus that causes the warts and verrucas to form. Specially formulated the gel forms a water resistant seal over the verrucas or warts, eliminating the need for plasters and prevents further spread of the infection. This skin softening action also helps in the removal of corns and calluses.
How to Use:
Soak the affected area in warm water for 2 to 3 minutes. Dry the area thoroughly (with your own towel if you are treating a wart or verruca .infection). Carefully apply a thin coating (one or two drops) of the gel and allow it to dry for a few minutes to form a small white patch which sticks to the skin and is water-resistant. There is no need to cover it with a sticking plaster. Every evening for the next week, carefully peel or pick off the white patch of dried gel and apply fresh gel. Wash hands after use. Occasionally, if removal of the white patch proves difficult, carefully re-apply the gel directly over it and allow to dry. This should help thicken the white patch to assist removal. If necessary, such re-application may be made on 2 or 3 successive days. Once every week, before applying fresh gel, gently rub the verruca, wart, corn or callus with the emery board provided, or with a pumice stone. The length of treatment will vary according to the resistance and size of the verruca, wart, corn or callus. Always read the information provided on the packaging and enclosed Patient Information Leaflet before taking this medicine. DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE
