Product Description

Many women consider a diaphragm for birth control as it is easy to use.

Once the right size has been determined, correct insertion, placement and appropriate care have to be taken note of.

The diaphragm is inserted into the vagina prior to intercourse. It has to be used with a diaphragm gel which kills sperm.


The following spermicides for diaphragms can be purchased in pharmacies:
GYNOL II - 81 g tube (from England, with English information leaflet),
ORTHO CREAM - 70 g tube (from England, with English information leaflet).

The diaphragm is placed inside the vagina where it functions as a barrier. In combination with the diaphragm gel it prevents sperm from reaching the uterus.
