Class 2 thigh stockings give higher compression to help with:
Varicose Veins
An open or healed leg ulcer - to prevent reaccurance
Deep Vein Thrombosis
Swollen legs for example after pregnancy, or immobility after you have had venous surgery
Reduce itching and burning sensations in the leg
Provide 100% compression of the ankle, reducing to 70% at the knee and 40% on the thigh
Compression stockings or socks work by applying pressure to your legs, which increases the blood flow in the
veins back up to the heart. They work by squashing the veins and squeezing the blood back
up your leg.
We are unable to offer individual advise on the suitability of this product, and as with any compression garment, wearers are advised to be assessed by a healthcare professional as to their suitability for compression prior to purchasing the tights.
