According to standard UTE C15-712-1 which refers to guide UTE C 61-740-52, surge protection is mandatory side AC in the presence of lightning or lightning strike density greater than 2.5 (the density of lightning strikes is established by Department).

Assembled by AIGER AC surge protection cabinet can meet this standard and is intended for the protection of the photovoltaic installations downstream of the DC/AC converter.
All our lightning arrester boxes comply with IEC 60364-7-712 'Facilities in the building - part 7-712 - rules for facilities and special locations - photovoltaic power supplies'
The surge AC box consists of a modular Cabinet in which are installed and pre-wired:
1 interrupter-neutral 30mA type has high immunity (3KW), 25A (5KW) 16A or 32A (7KW)
1 AC type 2 surge arrester which provides effective protection on the phase and the neutral
1 circuit-breaker 16 A protection of the SPD

Choice of the size of the circuit breaker depending on the installation power 30mA differential:
16A (Ref.AIGCPARAFAC16A): for installations up to 3KW
25A (Ref.AIGCPARAFAC25A): for installations up to 5KW
32A (Ref.AIGCPARAFAC32A): for installations up to 7KW
