From 16 Years Only. - Prepare and Use: Directions for Use: Apply sufficient gel using the spatula to cover the ulcer. Let dry before closing the mouth. Apply as often as necessary up to 4 times a day. If symptoms persist after 5 days consult your doctor. Do not give to children and adolescents under 16 years of age. This is because there is a possible association between the derivative of salicylic acid and Reye's syndrome when given to children. Reye's syndrome is a very rare disease which affects the brain and liver and can be fatal.
