Product Description Biorepair Repair & Protect works by repairing the enamel through its unique Fluoride-enhanced Hydroxyapatite (microRepair-F) formula which penetrates the tiny holes in the surface of the teeth, rebuilding the surface of the enamel. It remineralizes the enamel through the relase of fluoride and strontium ions directly onto the enamel surface during the acid attack of food and drinks. Fluoride and strontium work together to help protect against the build up of caries. Ordinary toothpastes contain free fluoride ions which are released into the body. Excessive intake of fluoride, especially by children, can cause fluorosis. Biorepair Repair & Protect's advanced fluoride technology means that the fluoride is bound into the hydroxyapatite (microRepair-F) which bonds to the surface tooth enamel and strengthens it, but no fluoride ions are released into the body.
