The item has a 100% fluid proof backing and a soaker layer that draws liquid away from the surface to leave it feeling dry. This particular bed pad also has tucks to keep the item in place.

Care instructions:
-Wash before use
-Do no use fabric softeners or bleach -Tumble dry on a medium setting
-Allow 5 minutes cooldown period before folding
