This range of high quality transfer boards are all manufactured in the UK using FSC grade birch plywood, giving consistent performance using wood taken from renewable wood sources. Strong enough to bridge large gaps between transfer surfaces, these three boards have slip resistant pads on the underside to prevent them moving during the transfer. On the top side there is a durable lacquered wipe-clean surface. These boards can also be cleaned with a disinfectant solution. Available as the following three models: Short - straight 24 inches (far left of picture) with tapered ends - particularly suitable for transfers in confined spaces. Length 600mm x width 210mm (24 x 8 inches) - weight 1.2kg (2lb 8oz). Maximum user weight 190kg (30 stone). Long - straight 30 inches (centre of picture) with tapered ends - this long board includes two hand holds to aid positioning and movement. Length 760mm x width 210mm (30 x 8 inches) - weight 1.4kg (3lb). Maximum user weight 190kg (30 stone). Curved (far right of picture) - complete with tapered ends - this board is particularly suitable for side transfers when used with chairs that have fixed arm rests.
