Vitex berry Plus forte is a natural herbal supplement made of extracts of Vitex berry and Raspberry to relieve symptoms of PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome), improve woman's fertility, alterations in menstrual cycle, hypermenorrhea and amenorrhoea. Vitex berry acts by essentially inhibiting prolactin secretions by different processes, while flavonoids provide a sedative and sympatholytic effect. Furthermore, Raspberry can help to calm premenstrual symptoms due to its sedative, antispasmodic and womb-relaxing effect. Raspberry is a good iron supplement during a women's period as well.
Ingredients per capsule: 95 mg Vitex agnus-castus berry from (4:1) extract, which is equivalent to 380 mg of fruit and with a minimum content of 0.50% vitexin guaranteed; 280 mg Raspberry (Rubus idaeus) extract, which is equivalent to 1,700 mg of fresh fruit; excipients and gelatine.
Directions: Take one capsule three times daily.
Caution: Do not take if you have FSH deficiency or if you're taking hormonal medication with oestrogens, progestogens or for ovarian stimulation, oral contraceptives and dopamine agonists (normally used for the treatment of Parkinson's disease).
