What is Flax and what does it do?
Flax may be new to the generation born after the Second World War, but its known history is very old and its use is probably much older. Flax was traditionally grown both for its fibre, which was woven into linen cloth, and for its seeds, which provided Omega 3-rich oils as well as other nutrients, and mucilage fibre for normalising gastro-intestinal function.
