Product Description

The 'Pivotell Advance GSM' medication dispenser can hold up to 28 days supply of medication depending on how frequently medication is taken each day. It is easily programmed online via the Pivotell Administration Centre which is used to set all the functions, including time, number of doses per day, alarm times, and to whom the messages should be sent by text and email and in what circumstances. If the medication has not been dispensed within the pre-set alarm period, (the 'After' time - up to 5 hours, set by the carer) the GSM will initiate and Text and Email messages will be sent to up to 3 family members or carers at the same time, or at nominated times of the day. A self-locking shutter over the lid opening prevents access to the medication tray except at the time that medication is programmed to be available. This prevents the possibility of the used taking two doses too close together and the forced movement of the medication tray by the user. The visible LCD allows the user and carer to view: The date and time, the time that the next dose is due, number of doses remaining, the battery level. The PivoTell Advance dispenser includes a pre-installed SIM card with £10.00 pre-paid credit (less approx £0.20 initiating cost). Mobile phone operator's charges are generally 20p per two-way message but may vary. An Orange SIM card is supplied as standard. Please contact us if you have poor Orange reception and we can arrange an alternative. The price includes the first years communication/servicing charge and the costs of all: - Incoming messages to the dispenser - Email/SMS messages from the Administration Centre to the person receiving the alerts. - Administration Reports - monitoring of medication compliance and events history of the dispenser.
